interior design: plants

Having something living in your house is great. Hopefully you do, since you live there (get it since you’re alive? ha.). But honestly, having a plant in your house/room/studio/whatever is great. It brings in a kind of freshness that isn’t achievable through any other method, and it’s really easy to keep a plant alive if you pick the right one. Here are some tips on how to keep house plants/succulents alive, how to choose resilient ones, and how to make them look perfect.

interior design: light fixtures

Hey guys! Today I’m going to share some of my favorite lighting fixtures with you, because I love, love, love light. My dream home is white and gold with lots of plants, but above all, I want there to be light. Tons and tons of light streaming in through all the windows and warm light radiating from whatever ceiling fixture I decide to hang (currently, I’m liking a row of simple gold-dipped lightbulbs). Because of this, looking for lighting really interests me, and I’ve decided to share my top picks as of right now for bringing light to any room.

interiors: simple spaces

I’m obsessed with interior design. It’s bad. I have 652 pins on my home board on pinterest (which you can find HERE). As of right now, one of my favorite trends is what I call a “simple” interior, which consists of mainly white walls, gold accents, terra cotta, and lots of plants and succulents. I’ve compiled images of my favorite simple spaces below!
